JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. You will handle complex accounting functions including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and support for budget and forecasting activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and compliance to standards and company policies

- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on time

- Analyze and interpret monthly and quarterly financial results, identify trends and variances

- Handle large data sets and perform data manipulation for financial reporting and analysis

- Assist in preparation of financial statements and other reporting deliverables

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for month-end and year-end closing

- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives in accounting

- Support internal and external audits including preparation of required documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

- College Graduate. Accounting course is non-negotiable

- CPA preferred. Non-CPA candidates will also be considered

- Minimum 4 years of experience

- Good communication skills

- Experience with ERP Systems like SAP

- Strong data manipulation skills with large sets of files. Non-negotiable

- Sound accounting knowledge. Non-negotiable

- Core competencies: Journal Entries, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and P&L, Contra Asset Accounts, General Ledger Management, Account Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, Invoice Preparation, Accruals

- Bank Reconciliation. Multi Currency preferred

- Supports Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Close

- Financial Analysis

- Intermediate to Advanced Excel. Pivot Table step by step is non-negotiable

- Knowledge of Zero Bank Balance
