Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex accounting functions, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and supporting budget and forecasting activities. This position offers a hybrid work setup after training and requires a night shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and company policies
  
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  
• Analyze and interpret monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying trends and variances
  
• Handle large data sets and perform data manipulation for financial reporting and analysis
  
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting deliverables
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end closing activities
  
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function
  
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation

Qualifications

• College Graduate, Accounting course required (non-negotiable)
  
• CPA preferred, but strong non-CPA candidates will be considered
  
• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  
• Strong data manipulation skills for large data sets (non-negotiable)
  
• Sound accounting knowledge (non-negotiable)
  
• Hands-on experience with: journal entries, trial balance, balance sheet/P&L, contra asset accounts, general ledger management, account reconciliation, financial reporting, invoice preparation, accruals, and bank reconciliation (multi-currency preferred)
  
• Experience supporting monthly/quarterly/annual close and financial analysis
  
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables (non-negotiable)
  
• Familiarity with zero bank balance processes
  
• Willing to work onsite for training (2–3 months), then transition to hybrid on a night shift schedule
