Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex accounting functions, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and supporting budget and forecasting activities. This position offers a hybrid work setup and requires a night shift schedule following successful training.

Key Responsibilities:

•Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and company policies.

•Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

•Analyze and interpret monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying trends and variances.

•Handle large data sets and perform data manipulation for financial reporting and analysis.

•Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting deliverables.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end and year-end closing activities.

•Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.

•Support internal and external audits, including the preparation of required documentation.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (required)

•CPA license is preferred, but non-CPAs with strong experience may be considered

•Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience

•Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, including journal entries, debits, and credits

•Proven experience with account reconciliations and month/quarter-end close analysis

•Proficient in handling large volumes of financial data and working with spreadsheets (Excel)

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills •Strong verbal and written communication skills

•Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

•Experience working in a shared services or BPO environment is a plus

•Willingness to work a night shift schedule in a hybrid setup after training
