JOB SUMMARY:

As a Security Engineer, you will apply your security expertise to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve collaborating with teams to implement security measures, responding to incidents, and ensuring the integrity of information systems against potential cyber threats. You will engage in proactive measures to safeguard infrastructure and business processes.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

- Be an SME in Computer Security Incident Response

- Collaborate with and manage the team to deliver security operations

- Responsible for team decisions and technical direction

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions

- Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across teams

- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to enhance security posture

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements

- Stay updated on latest security trends and technologies to protect against emerging threats

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Expert proficiency in Computer Security Incident Response. Minimum 5 years experience required

- Strong understanding of threat detection and incident management processes

- Experience with Security Information and Event Management SIEM tools

- Knowledge of network security protocols and best practices

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to information security

- Experience in conducting security training and awareness programs for staff
