Job Overview

We are looking for a Security Engineer (SIEM & SOAR) to lead SIEM/SOAR engineering initiatives, strengthen security operations, automate incident response, and mentor security engineers and analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable SIEM architectures and security monitoring solutions.

• Develop detection use cases, correlation rules, dashboards, and reporting.

• Improve log management, visibility, and threat detection capabilities.

• Design and implement SOAR playbooks and automated incident-response workflows.

• Integrate SOAR platforms with threat intelligence, ticketing, and security tools.

• Identify opportunities to automate SOC processes and improve response times.

• Act as technical lead for cybersecurity projects and initiatives.

• Mentor junior security engineers and analysts.

• Review technical deliverables and ensure cybersecurity best practices.

• Collaborate with SOC, Threat Hunting, Incident Response teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM and/or SOAR engineering.

• Experience leading small teams, workstreams, or cybersecurity initiatives.

• SOC experience is highly preferred.

• Hands-on experience with one or more:

  • Splunk

  • Microsoft Sentinel

  • Google SecOps

  • QRadar

  • ArcSight

• Experience developing SOAR playbooks and automation workflows.

• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS Controls, and detection engineering.

• Experience with cloud security technologies is an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Work Requirements

• Hybrid work – Cubao office.

• Must be willing to work shifting schedules.
