Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Coder, you will:

​

• Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding.
  
• Assign diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  
• Maintain coding quality and productivity standards.
  
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to resolve documentation issues.
  
• Support accurate reimbursement through proper coding practices.
  

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have:

​

• Active PHRN (Philippine Registered Nurse) or USRN license.
  
• Active PRC License (for PHRN applicants).
  
• Active CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification.
  
• Minimum 2–3 years of medical coding experience.
  
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  
• At least 3 years of hospital or clinical bedside experience.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  
• Must be willing to work on a shifting schedule from home.
