Non-Negotiable Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft or other Middleware/API Management platforms.

• Background: Proven experience working with an end-client organization, consulting firm, or IT services company.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies:

  • REST APIs, Java, AngularJS

  • Version Control & CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps

  • ETL Tools: Informatica, DataStage, Talend, etc.

  • Monitoring/Logging: ELK Stack

• Stability: Stable career history (no rapid job-hopping).

• Exclusions: Must not be a current or former employee of CGI.

• Certifications (Preferred): MuleSoft or related integration platform certification is a strong advantage.

Position Description

As a MuleSoft Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable Middleware and API integration solutions to support business objectives and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs and integrations connecting enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, and third-party systems.

  • Build solutions using Agile methodologies and technologies, including Python, Node.js, Java, JSON, REST, YAML, OpenAPI, RAML, GraphQL, and DataWeave.

  • Prepare technical specifications, detailed solution designs, and implementation documentation.

• Client & Delivery Support:

  • Support clients in designing, implementing, and delivering enterprise API Management and Middleware solutions.

  • Contribute technical expertise across multiple iPaaS and API Management platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Google Apigee, WSO2, Software AG, AWS, and Microsoft technologies).

  • Translate business and technical requirements into efficient, scalable integration architectures.

  • Participate in project planning, workload estimation, and delivery activities in collaboration with architects, technical leads, and cross-functional teams.

• Testing, Optimization & Maintenance:

  • Execute unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, and defect resolution.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Middleware services and API performance.

  • Provide ongoing application maintenance and production support, including incident investigation and root-cause resolution.

• Governance & Practice Growth:

  • Contribute to API governance, integration architecture discussions, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • Active involvement in knowledge-sharing and supporting the growth of the API Management and Middleware practice.
