Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manager, Pre-sales and Solutions professional with strong experience in BPO Service Desk pre-sales, bid management, consulting, and solution development.

The role is responsible for leading major bids and opportunities within End-User Services, developing winning solutions, managing sales pipelines, preparing proposals, and collaborating with business units and delivery teams to drive successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall solution development for major BPO Service Desk bids.

• Drive business development activities and manage opportunities across existing and prospective accounts.

• Develop strategic sales plans and maintain a strong business pipeline.

• Manage and support complex IT consulting and BPO Service Desk deals.

• Develop winning solutions aligned with client requirements and business objectives.

• Challenge client assumptions and identify innovative solution opportunities.

• Prepare and write effective proposals and bid responses.

• Collaborate with multiple business units to develop competitive solutions.

• Standardize tools, offerings, best practices, and bid processes.

• Build and maintain a knowledge repository covering bid tools, best practices, and case studies.

• Improve efficiency and effectiveness of bid management activities.

• Support Sales-to-Delivery handover and transition activities.

• Expand Solution Architecture and pre-sales capabilities within the business unit.

• Contribute to Communities of Practice and strategic business initiatives.

• Support participation in relevant industry forums and business-development activities.

• Ensure compliance with established business engineering and bid-management frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• College graduate.

• 3+ years of experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L) within a consulting organization with exposure to both sales and delivery.

• Strong experience in Pre-sales / Bids within BPO Service Desk.

• Proven experience in strategic sales planning and pipeline development.

• Experience handling and closing complex IT consulting or BPO deals.

• Experience managing large bids in a BPO Service Desk environment.

• Strong understanding of Service Desk operations and solutions.

• Strong bid management and proposal development skills.

• Experience with BEMF / Business Engineering Management Framework.

• Strong client and executive-level stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to challenge client requirements and develop innovative solutions.

• Ability to travel as required.

• Large BPO Service Desk bid experience is preferred.

• BEMF training/experience is required.

• Candidates with frequent job changes may not be considered.

• Current or former CGI employees are not eligible.
