Job Title: Inventory Staff Accountant(Specialist)

Work Location: Ayala Makati(will transition to McKinley)

Work Setup & Schedule: Hybrid | Night Shift (after training)

Salary: PHP 27,000

Key Responsibilities:

•Support accounting for inventory consumption during operations on ships and transfers between locations, including warehouses.

•Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes, including accurate reporting of inventory and reserve balances.

•Perform variance analysis and explain material differences.

•Prepare journal entries related to:

•Inventory consumption and adjustments upon voyage completion

•Inventory activity in warehouses

•Monthly accruals, cleanup, and reclassification entries

•Quarterly split voyage accruals and variance explanations

•Prepare and research account reconciliations.

•Support process improvement initiatives and make recommendations.

•Assist in preparing inventory reserve assessments.

•Ensure all deadlines for financial close and reconciliation are met.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• College Graduate (Accounting Course non-negotiable)

• With General Accounting experience ( Reconciliation, Journal entries, General Ledger )

•Good Communication Skills

• Good with Data Manipulation files using Excel

•Able to analyze basic reports

•At least 1 year of experience in inventory accounting, not just in warehouse operations or physical counts
