Job title: Inpatient DRG Medical Coding – Team leader

Work set up: Taguig (100% onsite)

Work schedule: 9 am to 6 pm

Salary: Php up to 90K

Qualifications:

• Excellent Anatomy and Physiology knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Registered Nurses, Graduated Healthcare professionals or other paramedical graduations or any other graduations.

• Excellent in IP DRG coding - Diagnosis, PCS coding with DRG coding

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in coding role

• Minimum, 1 year on the job role as Team leader in similar work profile

•  Excellent drive through results in previous organization

•  Handle day-to-day operations of the Coding and Auditing Services of the team

• Ensure team delivers 100% of productivity and quality per client requirement.

• Good in team utilization based on the volume/attendance /attrition.

•  Good in identifying the gaps in team by analysis and give corrective solution.

• Good to have innovative ideas for process improvements.

• Excellent in managing auditing and feedback.

• Support coding team by discussing complex coding cases, answering questions, providing education and interfacing with both company and client leadership

• Good in maintaining and tracking the records for operation usage.

• Good team player

• Should hold certifications from AAPC or AHIMA

• Should be flexible to work in shifts.

• Excellent knowledge in MS office tools

• Handle the day-to-day operations of the Coding and Auditing Services

• Ensure team delivers 100% of projects within contracted turn-around-time

• Ensure team meets accuracy metric as per client/AGS QIP matching with client SLA

• Managing the team leave within allowed limit to meet daily deliverables

• Identifying the areas of improvement for training for a team/individual based on error trend analysis.

• Effective planning in place to manage OJT period within the specified period

• Support coding team by discussing complex coding cases, answering questions, providing education and interfacing with both company and client leadership

• Steer internal education program to ensure coding team has required training to meet accuracy and turn-around-time metric

• Adherence to the company's Coding Compliance policy/plan internally and External (clients)
