ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeling Engineer to design, develop, and maintain advanced data solutions. In this role, you will create robust data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. You'll work closely with client teams to translate business requirements into scalable data architectures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead client discussions to gather business requirements and develop tailored Data Models


• Facilitate discovery sessions and design workshops with stakeholders


• Create comprehensive Data Modeling deliverables and obtain stakeholder approvals


• Develop solution blueprints, define project scope, and provide delivery estimates


• Support data transformation and analytics projects from conception through implementation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Experience with Data Vault Modeling, Graph Database Modeling, RDF, Document DB Modeling, Ontology, or Semantic Data Modeling


• Knowledge of Data Analytics on Cloud platforms and Data Lake design


• Familiarity with Cloud Data Engineering and Cloud Data Integration


• Strong foundation in Data Architecture Principles


• Exceptional requirement analysis and technical solution design capabilities in Data and Analytics


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities


• Client-facing experience with outstanding interpersonal skills


• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Experience Requirements:

• 7+ years of overall IT experience


• 3+ years of hands-on Data Modeling experience


• Proven expertise in Dimensional Modeling and/or 3-NF modeling/NoSQL DB modeling


• Experience with at least one Cloud DB Design implementation


• Strong understanding of Modern Data Platforms and Data Warehouse concepts


• End-to-end involvement in database design across all Data Modeling stages


• Proficiency in leading Data Modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER Studio, or equivalent)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) required


• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
