Job Description:

We are hiring a Legal Contracting Counsel Manager for a Global Tech Company in Mandaluyong. This role is open to applicants currently residing in the Philippines with the legal right to live and work in the country. You will be reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex contractual agreements in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review, draft, and negotiate various contractual agreements including master services agreements, outsourcing agreements, statements of work, service level agreements, licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, data transfer agreements, RFPs, and agreements involving cloud, blockchain security, automation, systems integration, and agile development

- Work with senior CLPs to support more complex contracts and deal structures

- Serve as a knowledgeable advisor on legal and commercial risks associated with transactions

- Independently structure, negotiate, and close client transactions with high autonomy to be most advantageous from a legal and business perspective, and advise company executives on legal and risk management issues

- Strategize with senior CLPs and internal business clients prior to client negotiations

- Stay updated on developments affecting the company, its clients, and industries, and incorporate insights into transactional practices

- Develop subject matter expertise in areas that benefit Legal and the business and advise other CLPs

- Participate in developing internal guidelines, toolkits, and knowledge capital

- Support, promote, and implement Legal Group initiatives

Requirements:

- Must be practicing law in the Philippines

- Experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and review

- Strong understanding of commercial and legal risk management
