Job Title: Capital Markets Operations – Settlements Senior Analyst (CL 10–11)

Job Description

We are looking for a Capital Markets Operations – Settlements Senior Analyst to lead critical trade operations activities across pre-matching, trade matching, inventory management, and exception handling. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate trade processing from execution through settlement while managing operational risks and resolving trade discrepancies.

The position requires close coordination with Front Office, Middle Office, European operational teams, execution brokers, and external counterparties to ensure timely resolution of issues and efficient settlement operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong working relationships with European and local operational teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely issue resolution.

• Supervise pre-matching activities by validating trade economics and settlement instructions before formal matching.

• Ensure accurate matching of internal trades against market and external trades.

• Monitor outstanding and aged trade items and ensure timely resolution.

• Manage unmatched trades, discrepancies, and settlement breaks in coordination with Front Office, Middle Office, brokers, and external counterparties.

• Lead break investigations, identify root causes, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.

• Oversee inventory management, including position monitoring, stock movements, and reconciliations.

• Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.

• Identify and book depot transfers based on ladder positions and inventory balances.

• Ensure timely capture and processing of trade lifecycle events.

• Manage and support claims investigations with internal and external stakeholders.

• Monitor and escalate unmatched instructions, failed trades, inventory discrepancies, and operational risks.

• Provide timely responses to Front Office, Middle Office, and external counterparties in line with agreed service levels.

• Support accurate reporting and maintain strong operational controls across the trade settlement lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Trade Settlements, supporting trading activities across physical and/or financial products.

• Strong attention to detail and a control-oriented approach to trade processing and exception management.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive trades and strict settlement deadlines.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Front Office, Middle Office, European teams, brokers, and external counterparties.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for trade tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Willingness and ability to work non-standard hours aligned with Asia-Pacific trading desks.

• Willing to provide coverage during Indian market holidays.

• Must have the right to live and work in the Philippines.

• Must not be a current or former employee of Accenture.

• Must not have an active Workday profile/account with Accenture.
