Accounts Payable Lead | BPO Setting

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional ready to lead high-performing teams?

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Lead with strong BPO or Shared Services experience to oversee AP operations, drive process excellence, and lead a team supporting a global retail environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced AP professional who combines technical AP expertise, people leadership, client management, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day Accounts Payable operations and ensure accurate, timely processing.

- Manage and develop AP team members, driving performance, productivity, and service quality.

- Oversee Vendor Master Data Management (VMD) and maintain data accuracy and controls.

- Partner closely with customers and client stakeholders to resolve operational concerns and maintain strong service delivery.

- Manage teams operating across different locations or geographies.

- Support process transitions, service stabilization, and transformation initiatives.

- Monitor operational performance, identify process gaps, and implement practical improvements.

- Ensure compliance with established processes, controls, SLAs, and quality standards.

- Provide regular operational updates and performance insights to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 6–10 years of Accounts Payable experience.

- At least 2–3 years of people management/team leadership experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in Vendor Master Data Management (VMD).

- Previous experience in a BPO, Shared Services, or Global Business Services environment.

- Experience managing offshore, remote, or geographically distributed teams.

- Proven ability to work effectively with customers and client stakeholders.

- Experience supporting operational transitions, service stabilization, or process transformation is highly preferred.
