Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – P2P Quality to lead and manage quality control operations across the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Invoice Processing, Helpdesk, Payments, Vendor Master Management, and Travel & Expense (T&E), along with experience in quality audits, process compliance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Quality Control operations across the Accounts Payable process, including Invoice Processing, Helpdesk, Payments, Vendor Master Management, and T&E.

• Ensure adherence to Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters, SOPs, company policies, and compliance requirements.

• Conduct and monitor daily quality audits, ensuring timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

• Review audit findings, identify quality gaps, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

• Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and conduct 5 Whys analysis to identify the underlying causes of errors.

• Drive preventive actions to reduce recurring errors and improve process accuracy.

• Monitor team deliverables to ensure timely completion, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.

• Ensure achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Turnaround Time (TAT), and accuracy targets.

• Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage internal quality reporting and provide regular performance updates to stakeholders.

• Support teams in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly quality and productivity targets.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of the end-to-end Accounts Payable / Procure to Pay (P2P) process.

• Hands-on knowledge of Invoice Processing, Payments, Vendor Master, AP Helpdesk, and T&E.

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and process audits.

• Strong knowledge of RCA, 5 Whys, and corrective and preventive actions.

• Understanding of CTQ parameters, SOPs, compliance, SLAs, and KPIs.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to handle conflicts proactively and resolve issues effectively.

• Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Good to Have

• B.Com, M.Com, or a postgraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.

• Professional experience in Accounts Payable / P2P operations.

• Good understanding of finance and accounting processes.

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.

• Proficiency in MS Office and Advanced Excel.
