The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Sales & Use Tax Accountant with strong expertise in indirect tax compliance, tax accounting, reconciliations and Oracle ERP.

What You’ll Do

• Manage multi-state Sales & Use Tax compliance, filings and remittances.

• Perform Use Tax assessments, tax accruals, journal entries and reconciliations.

• Manage month-end close activities and maintain tax sub-ledger to GL reconciliations.

• Research US indirect tax laws, economic nexus and marketplace facilitator requirements.

• Maintain taxability matrices and support business teams on tax implications.

• Support Sales & Use Tax audits and exemption certificate management.

• Monitor tax transactions and troubleshoot tax calculation issues in Oracle ERP.

• Work with IT/Finance teams on tax engine integrations, testing and process improvements.

• Prepare tax reports and support compliance with US GAAP/IFRS.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Sales & Use Tax compliance and tax accounting.

• Strong knowledge of US indirect tax and multi-state tax processes.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (Cloud/Fusion or EBS) across AR, AP and GL – mandatory.

• Experience with tax engines such as Vertex, Avalara or OneSource is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of tax accruals, provisions, journal entries and reconciliations.

• Advanced MS Excel skills, including lookups and PivotTables.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• CPA, CMA, CA or relevant taxation qualification is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, investigative and communication skills.
