Job Description

We are hiring an SCM Planning & Scheduling Associate in Kolkata with 2–4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing & Procurement, Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) processing, Contract Management, Vendor Management, and Procurement Operations. The role requires hands-on experience with SAP MM, LE and SD modules, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage procurement activities while maintaining accuracy and meeting defined timelines.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with UK customers, managing internal and client stakeholders, handling supplier contracts, supporting vendor onboarding and negotiations, and preparing operational reports for various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the PR to PO conversion process, ensuring purchase requisitions are accurately converted into purchase orders within defined timelines.

2. Support Sourcing & Procurement, Contract Management, Vendor Negotiation, and Vendor Onboarding activities while maintaining supplier relationships.

3. Work extensively on SAP MM, LE and SD modules and use MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for daily operations, analysis, and reporting.

4. Prepare and publish operational reports for internal and client stakeholders while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with work standards.

5. Manage communication and relationships with UK customers, suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders, resolving queries and ensuring timely delivery of procurement requirements.

Qualification

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in SCM, Sourcing, Procurement, Purchase Operations, or related functions.

• Hands-on experience with SAP MM, LE and SD modules is required.

• Strong knowledge of PR to PO processing, contract management, vendor negotiation, and vendor onboarding.

• Experience handling UK customers and managing client/internal stakeholders is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
