Job Description

We are looking for an experienced RTR Team Lead to join our Finance & Accounting team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have 8–10 years of Record-to-Report (R2R) experience with expertise in General Ledger, Month-End Close, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Fixed Assets, Reporting, and ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards (JDE). The role involves leading process improvements, supervising teams, ensuring SLA compliance, driving governance with stakeholders, and delivering operational excellence through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) operations, including General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month-End Close, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

• Supervise team performance, review complex transactions, and ensure SLA, TAT, and quality compliance.

• Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives and continuous process improvement projects.

• Prepare dashboards, MIS reports, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.

• Conduct governance meetings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Identify process gaps, implement controls, and mitigate operational risks.

• Mentor team members, provide feedback, and support knowledge sharing.

• Ensure compliance with finance policies, reporting standards, and internal controls.

• Handle reporting, analytics, and month-end deliverables within strict timelines.

• Support ERP-related activities using SAP or JD Edwards (JDE).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance & Accounting (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).

• CA qualification preferred.

• Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education (10+2+3).

• 8–10 years of RTR experience with at least 3 years as an SME and 2 years in a supervisory/team lead role.

• Expert knowledge of SAP or JD Edwards (JDE).

• Lean Six Sigma certification or formal training (Black Belt preferred).

• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
