Role/Skill: RTR Analyst
Location: Chennai
Experience: 2 – 8 Years

Education

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3)

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent

• CA / CMA (ICWA) / CPA / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred

Must-Have Skills

• General Ledger (GL) Accounting

• Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Month-End Close Activities

• ERP experience (SAP/SAP S4 HANA preferred)

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office

• Good spoken and written communication skills in English

• Exposure to financial reporting and accounting processes

Good-to-Have Skills

• Journal Entry Processing

• Fixed Asset Accounting

• Internal Order Creation

• Account Reconciliations

• Financial Reporting Support

• System Testing and UAT Support

• Maintaining Query Logs

• Ensuring quality, accuracy, and SLA/TAT adherence

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Record-to-Report (RTR) activities, including General Ledger accounting and month-end close.

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and within timelines.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Manage fixed asset accounting and internal order creation.

• Support financial reporting and period-end close activities.

• Maintain accounting records in SAP/SAP S4 HANA.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

• Maintain high quality, accuracy, and turnaround time (TAT).

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.

• Support system testing (UAT) and process improvement initiatives.

• Maintain query logs and provide timely resolutions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 2–8 years in Record-to-Report (RTR) / General Ledger Accounting.

• Experience with SAP/SAP S4 HANA is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
