Role Overview

TCS is looking for a Legal Operations Specialist – US Client Support to support US-based legal teams by managing litigation support activities, legal hold processes, engagement letters, settlement documentation, and legal operations. The role requires strong knowledge of US litigation procedures, eDiscovery, legal drafting, compliance, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and issue legal hold notices in compliance with US litigation and eDiscovery requirements.

• Coordinate legal hold implementation with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

• Track legal hold acknowledgements and maintain accurate documentation.

• Prepare and review engagement letters for external legal counsel.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and engagement terms.

• Coordinate approvals and execution of engagement documentation.

• Prepare settlement check requests and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate with Finance for settlement payment processing and tracking.

• Maintain legal logs, audit records, and compliance documentation.

• Support multiple legal operations activities while meeting strict deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Law Degree (LL.B or equivalent).

• 5–10 years of experience in Legal Operations, Litigation Support, or Corporate Legal functions.

• Strong knowledge of US Litigation Procedures.

• FRCP (Federal Rules of Civil Procedure).

• eDiscovery.

• Legal Drafting.

• Contract Law.

• Engagement Letter Management.

• Settlement Documentation.

• MS Office proficiency.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
