Role Overview

TCS is looking for an Indirect Sourcing Specialist to execute sourcing and procurement activities across assigned indirect procurement categories. The role involves sourcing execution, supplier coordination, commercial analysis, contract administration, spend analysis, procurement compliance, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring operational efficiency and policy adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing events for assigned indirect procurement categories.

• Coordinate supplier communication, bid tabulation, and commercial evaluation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, service scope, timelines, and budgets.

• Support supplier negotiations, contract administration, and onboarding activities.

• Maintain sourcing documentation, commercial records, supplier master data, and approval workflows.

• Track supplier performance, contract renewals, milestones, and issue resolution.

• Analyze spend data and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Coordinate with Procurement Operations and Finance teams to resolve PO, invoice, and service-related issues.

• Ensure sourcing activities comply with procurement policies, governance, and audit standards.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing processes and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–7 years of experience in Indirect Procurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, or Category Support.

• Experience in Tactical Sourcing.

• Supplier Communication and Coordination.
