Role Overview

TCS is hiring a German Language Processor Lead (HRO + German) to lead end-to-end Hire-to-Retire (H2R) operations for global clients. The role is responsible for leading German-language HR operations, managing employee lifecycle processes, driving service excellence, mentoring teams, ensuring HR compliance, and collaborating with global stakeholders to deliver exceptional HR Shared Services.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Service Delivery

• Lead Tier-1 and Tier-2 HR support for German-speaking employees.

• Manage HR queries related to Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Recruiting, Time & Attendance, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.

• Ensure SLA, TAT, quality, and productivity targets are achieved.

• Act as the escalation point for complex HR cases.

• Support and mentor HR Operations team members.

Hire-to-Retire (H2R) Operations

• Manage complete employee lifecycle processes.

• Handle onboarding and pre-employment documentation.

• Maintain employee master data.

• Process transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and employee updates.

• Manage leave administration and offboarding activities.

• Perform Workday HCM transactions accurately.

Learning & Development

• Lead Learning Operations activities.

• Coordinate training programs with business stakeholders and vendors.

• Track learning completion and maintain training records.

• Drive process standardization and operational excellence.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Coach and mentor HR Operations associates.

• Conduct quality reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Global HR teams.

• Participate in governance meetings and client reviews.

Data Governance & Compliance

• Ensure employee data accuracy and integrity.

• Maintain GDPR and organizational compliance.

• Monitor dashboards, KPIs, quality metrics, and productivity.

• Support internal and external audits.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.

• Support transition projects and process documentation.

• Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in HR Shared Services / HR Operations / HRO.

• Fluency in German (B2/C1 or above).

• Strong English communication skills.
