Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Payroll Administrator to support General Ledger (Record-to-Report) activities, payroll processing, financial reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting processes, payroll administration, reporting, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll for direct and indirect employees, including payroll journals, leave salary entries, staff loans, advances, and management salary entries.

• Prepare and maintain payroll calculations, payroll phasing, payroll tax calculations, and tax integration journals.

• Perform payroll accounting, payroll reconciliations, and payroll advance updates.

• Compile leave requests and maintain SG&A trackers and related payroll records.

• Prepare, post, and analyze journal entries, accruals, and other general ledger transactions.

• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

• Support month-end closing and other Record-to-Report (RTR) activities.

• Respond to internal and external customer queries professionally and promptly.

• Track and report Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support transformation initiatives.

• Maintain confidentiality of payroll, employee, and financial information.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, payroll procedures, and internal controls.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Finance & Accounts, General Ledger, and RTR processes.

• Experience in payroll processing and payroll accounting.

• Strong understanding of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

• Knowledge of payroll taxes and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

• Result-oriented approach and willingness to meet deadlines.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Education and Experience

• Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and reporting.

• Understanding of end-to-end general accounting processes is preferred.
