Role Overview

TCS is hiring a Direct Sourcing Specialist to support direct procurement and sourcing activities for materials and components. The role involves supplier coordination, sourcing execution, commercial analysis, contract tracking, spend analysis, ERP system usage, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement while ensuring procurement compliance and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing events for assigned direct procurement categories.

• Coordinate supplier outreach, bid analysis, and negotiation support.

• Work with internal stakeholders to understand material and sourcing requirements.

• Support supplier evaluation and onboarding activities.

• Track purchase commitments and supplier delivery schedules.

• Maintain sourcing records, contracts, pricing, and supplier documentation.

• Analyze spend data, pricing trends, and supplier performance.

• Participate in supplier review meetings and follow up on action plans.

• Ensure sourcing activities comply with procurement policies and audit requirements.

• Support sourcing process improvements and workflow optimization.
