Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Ad Campaign Manager with strong hands-on expertise in geofencing, location-based advertising, and programmatic campaign execution. The role will focus on planning, setting up, managing, optimizing, and reporting digital campaigns that target audiences based on geographic location, behavioral signals, and campaign objectives. The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with DSP platforms, mobile display, CTV/OTT, audience segmentation, attribution tracking, and performance optimization to deliver measurable ROI for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy, Setup and Execution:

Geofencing Campaign Setup:

Create and manage geofencing campaigns using polygon, radius, address-based, and location-specific targeting methods.

Build targeting strategies for competitor location targeting, event-based targeting, store-visit campaigns, and hyperlocal audience reach.

Configure audience segments, location rules, frequency caps, budgets, pacing, and campaign parameters within DSP platforms.

Campaign Trafficking and QA:

Traffic digital creatives across display, mobile, video, native, and CTV/OTT channels, ensuring correct specifications, tags, landing pages, and tracking are implemented.

Perform quality checks on campaign setup, geo boundaries, audience rules, conversion pixels, click trackers, and third-party tags before launch.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor live campaigns to ensure impressions, clicks, conversions, footfall attribution, and delivery volumes are tracking as expected.

Identify and resolve campaign delivery issues related to under-pacing, over-pacing, geo leakage, low CTR, tag errors, creative rejection, or attribution gaps.

Optimization and Performance Management:

Campaign Optimization:

Continuously optimize campaigns based on KPIs such as impressions, CTR, CPM, CPC, CPA, conversions, footfall, store visits, and ROAS.

Recommend changes to bids, budgets, geographies, audience segments, creatives, frequency caps, and inventory sources to improve campaign performance.

Audience and Location Strategy:

Develop audience strategies using location history, demographic overlays, behavioral segments, CRM audiences, retargeting pools, and lookalike audiences.

Support campaign planning for local businesses, retail, automotive, healthcare, real estate, events, and other location-sensitive advertisers.

Compliance and Data Privacy:

Ensure campaigns follow applicable data privacy, consent, location-data usage, platform, and brand-safety guidelines.

Maintain awareness of evolving digital advertising policies, privacy regulations, and industry best practices related to location-based marketing.

Reporting and Insights:

Prepare campaign performance reports covering delivery, engagement, conversion, attribution, footfall, pacing, and optimization actions.

Analyze performance trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve campaign ROI and future targeting strategies.

Communicate insights clearly to internal stakeholders, account teams, sales teams, and clients.

Qualifications / Experience:

Education:

Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in digital advertising campaign management, programmatic media buying, or performance marketing.

Hands-on experience setting up and managing geofencing, location-based targeting, mobile advertising, retargeting, and programmatic campaigns.

Experience managing high-volume digital campaigns across multiple advertisers, geographies, budgets, and KPIs.

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with DSPs and geofencing platforms such as http://Simpli.fi, GroundTruth, StackAdapt, Basis, The Trade Desk, DV360, or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, mobile display, video, CTV/OTT, audience targeting, retargeting, attribution, and conversion tracking.

Proficiency in Excel and reporting dashboards, with the ability to analyze campaign data and derive actionable insights.

Familiarity with analytics and measurement tools such as Google Analytics, campaign dashboards, ad servers, pixel tracking, and third-party attribution platforms.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with competitor conquesting, event targeting, store-visit attribution, and multi-location campaign execution.

Working knowledge of creative formats, landing page QA, UTM tracking, click tags, impression tags, and campaign troubleshooting.

Ability to translate client objectives into measurable digital media plans and optimization strategies.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy in campaign execution.

Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with account managers, sales teams, creative teams, vendors, and clients.

Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
