Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Analyst (Portuguese) with strong Portuguese language proficiency and experience in Finance & Accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial research, analysis of financial statements, web research, financial data extraction, reporting, and maintaining high data accuracy while supporting global financial research operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, review, analyze, and interpret financial statements and broker reports of global organizations.

• Extract financial information from Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.

• Capture key financial metrics including Revenue, Net Income, EPS, Income Before Tax, Income Tax, Cash Flow, and other financial data.

• Perform transaction-based and rule-based financial processing.

• Conduct reconciliation, financial reporting, data verification, and accuracy checks.

• Extract future estimates and company guidance from press releases, earnings calls, and presentations.

• Conduct web research and document research.

• Maintain financial databases with high accuracy.

• Interact with clients regularly and support business requirements.

• Work in rotational and night shifts based on business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting or Financial Research.

• Portuguese language proficiency is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles.

• Knowledge of financial statements and accounting concepts.

• Experience in Financial Analysis and Reporting.

• Strong web research and analytical skills.

• Good communication skills in Portuguese and English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Com / BAF / BMS / MBA (Finance) preferred.

• Certifications such as NISM, CMSA, IFRS are an added advantage.
