Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst (Japanese) with strong Japanese language proficiency to support financial research and data analytics projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent web research, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and maintain high-quality databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct web-based research on global companies and financial information.

• Analyze and interpret financial research documents and market data.

• Build knowledge of financial regulations and market practices.

• Tag, validate, and maintain researched data within client systems.

• Ensure accuracy and quality of financial data and database management.

• Collaborate with internal teams and interact regularly with clients.

• Handle multiple tasks while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

• Prepare reports and work extensively on MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Required Skills

• Japanese language proficiency (E2 level or equivalent).

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Financial Research, or Web Research.

• Strong web research and analytical skills.

• Good understanding of financial documents and research methodologies.

• Knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.

• Finance educational background (B.Com, BAF, BMS, MBA Finance) is preferred; candidates from other streams with strong Japanese and English communication skills are also eligible.

• Basic understanding of supply chain concepts is an added advantage.
