Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced AML OPS Analyst with 10+ years of experience in Anti-Money Laundering operations and strong exposure to AML Quality Control (AML QC). The candidate will be responsible for reviewing AML alerts, conducting transaction analysis and investigations, assessing customer activity, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with applicable AML regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze AML alerts generated through FCRM and identify potential red flags such as structuring, high-risk/high-volume transactions, unusual activity, and changes in customer behavior.

• Review alerted activity along with the customer's recent 30-day account activity to understand and assess transaction patterns.

• Conduct customer profile checks and validate expected customer activity against transaction behavior.

• Perform initial investigations using internal systems and relevant external information sources.

• Analyze transaction patterns, customer information, and associated parties to identify potential AML risks.

• Make appropriate alert disposition decisions, including closing alerts as non-suspicious or escalating cases for further investigation.

• Maintain accurate documentation of findings, investigation details, rationale, and recommended actions in the required FCRM format.

• Perform AML QC activities to ensure reviews and dispositions meet established quality and compliance standards.

• Ensure all investigations and alert reviews are conducted in accordance with applicable AML regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

• Demonstrate strong analytical and investigative skills while handling complex transaction activity.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while reviewing alerts and documenting findings.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide clear investigation rationale.

• Ability to gather, analyze, and assess information from multiple sources.

• Strong written and analytical communication skills.

Eligibility / Additional Information

• Experience: 10+ years in AML / Anti-Money Laundering operations.

• Preferred Expertise: AML Quality Control / AML Alert Review.

• Location: Bangalore / Chennai.
