About the Role

hiring Interpretation Support Associates fluent in /Cantonese and English for a healthcare-based interpretation process. The role involves providing accurate, real-time, over-the-phone consecutive interpretation between doctors and patients based in the US.

The interpreter will support live calls and ensure smooth communication between English-speaking healthcare professionals and Cantonese-speaking patients. This is a professional interpretation role that requires strong language fluency, active listening, neutrality, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive or urgent healthcare conversations with composure.

Work Location: Work From Home
Working Days: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday
Weekly Off: Saturday and Sunday
Shift: Permanent Night Shift
Shift Timings: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM / 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Shift Allowance: RM 25 per night
Contract: 6 months + 12 months renewable

The ideal candidate should have strong bilingual communication skills and the ability to interpret live conversations accurately.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

High School Graduate, SPM, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply
Candidates with professional experience in interpretation, translation, healthcare, customer service, contact center, BPO, media, or journalism will be preferred
Comparable professional experience may also be considered
Must be fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese and English
Must be comfortable working in permanent night shift
Must be able to work from home with a stable internet connection

Compensation and Benefits

Basic Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 4,500
Negotiable Salary: Up to RM 5,000 based on profile and experience
Wi-Fi Allowance: RM 150 per month
Night Shift Allowance: RM 25 per night
Estimated Monthly Night Shift Allowance: RM 550, based on 22 working days
Performance Incentive: Based on performance
Total All-Inclusive Salary: RM 5,000+

Work Environment

This is a work-from-home role. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in a remote setup and supporting live interpretation calls during night shift hours. The role requires strong focus, privacy, and a quiet work environment due to the sensitive nature of healthcare conversations.
