Hiring: Accounts Payable Analyst (Japanese Speaking) | Petaling Jaya

Are you a finance professional with a knack for process improvement and fluent in Japanese? A premier organization in Petaling Jaya is looking for a permanent Accounts Payable Analyst to join their high-performing finance team.

This is more than just a transactional role—you will drive automation initiatives, troubleshoot system workflows (OCR, BOTs), and provide technical mentorship to the team.

Salary Range: RM 12,000 – RM 13,000

Location: Petaling Jaya (Onsite)

Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Core AP Operations: Manage end-to-end AP processes, validation of PO/non-PO invoices, and execute supplier payments.

• Financial Control: Perform supplier SOA reconciliations, AP balance sheet account reconciliations (GR/IR, GIT), and month-end closing activities.

• Compliance & Audit: Participate in compliance audits, prepare statutory reports, and ensure strict alignment with ICFR and group policies.

• Innovation & Tech: Troubleshoot workflow issues (SAP, OCR, BOT) and drive process improvement/system integration projects.

• Leadership: Provide technical mentorship and conduct internal process training for new joiners.

What We Are Looking For:

• Education: Degree in Finance/Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent (Professional qualifications like ACCA, CPA, or MIA are a big plus).

• Languages: Professional proficiency in English AND Japanese (written and spoken).

• Experience: At least 2 years of transactional accounting experience in a performance-driven environment.

• Tech Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP or other major ERP systems.
