Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Buyer with a strong background in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Sourcing, and Procurement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading procurement teams, managing client relationships, driving operational excellence, and ensuring delivery of high-quality procurement services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Lead, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve business objectives.

• Conduct process training and support team development initiatives.

• Monitor team performance and drive regular reviews with leadership.

• Ensure delivery quality, exception handling, and SLA compliance.

• Identify and mitigate operational and procurement-related risks.

• Manage escalations and drive timely resolution of issues.

• Administer procurement contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Enable process improvements and drive operational efficiency.

• Channelize workflow and ensure effective resource utilization.

Required Experience

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM).

• Experience in Sourcing and Procurement operations.

• Experience working with domestic and international suppliers/customers.

• Strong exposure to procurement lifecycle and supplier management.

• Experience leading teams and driving business results.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong team collaboration and leadership abilities.

• Documentation and knowledge-sharing expertise.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Exposure to Oracle, SAP, or other ERP Sourcing Modules.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in B.Com, BBA, BMS, MBA, or related disciplines. (Preferred)

Certifications (Preferred)

• Supply Chain Management (SCM) certifications from platforms such as Coursera, Great Learning, Alison, or equivalent.
